The G-HOST report of The Hum Hip Hop Project<\/h2>\n

“We call this “Hum” Hip Hop cause it belongs to all of us, how we grow it depends on us. Not as an Individual but to build the scene itself together, with each-other. If we are not united, we might never be able to bring real Hip Hop in its full force to India. But, if we succeed… if we succeed…”<\/em><\/p>\n

The 3rd Edition of The Hum Hip Hip Project<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

It all started in August, the first edition featured the infamous Machas With Attitude<\/strong> (<\/a>M.W.A)<\/a>\/Low Rhyderz<\/strong> combination. Before we realized\u00a0it, the second edition came with Rinosh & Gubbi <\/strong>bringing Kannada and R&B and Indian 777<\/a><\/strong> bringing raw flavour to the mix. And now, it will be the 3rd\u00a0edition<\/em> this coming week, featuring a fresh\u00a0line up, it grows exponentially as we speak. The first of the “good news” came as, Vachan Chinnappa<\/strong>, one of the most renowned DJs in the scene. I literally\u00a0spoke about this project to him when I was playing cricket<\/em> with him, it brings me great joy to see him on this. Its amazing how one genre can bring together so many people when we look back what we have done. The Second was Young dirrt<\/strong> and URMI<\/strong>, i’ve watched these guys perform for years now. Young Dirrt<\/strong> according to me has all the skills needed to kill, one of the strongest entities i’ve seen behind the microphone.<\/p>\n
