The song, appearing on the Fast &amp; Furious 7 soundtrack and featuring singer Charlie Puth, also set a new record for the most streams in a single week worldwide, picking up 21.9m listens between 6 April and 12 April.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of its sudden popularity, See You Again sped to the top of the charts in 26 countries including the UK, US, Australia, Hong Kong, Germany, Canada and Switzerland. The track\u2019s success follows on from that of recent box-office smash Fast &amp; Furious 7. The song\u2019s vocal hook and video has been considered a tribute to actor Paul Walker, who features posthumously in the film alongside Vin Diesel.
